Acroyoga is a fun and collaborative form of physical activity that combines elements of yoga, acrobatics, and therapeutic movement. It involves partners working together to create various poses that often include one person acting as the base or support, another as the flyer (who is lifted), and sometimes a spotter to ensure safety.
It's not just about strength or flexibility; it's also about trust, communication, and connection between the practitioners. Acroyoga poses can range from simple to complex, and they often require focus, balance, and teamwork. Acroyoga isn't just about physical exercise; it's also about building relationships, and having fun while being mindful and present in the moment. It's a fantastic way to connect with others and oneself.
As part of the warm- up we will practice handstands with all its cues, so you will be able to practice by yourself afterwards :)
Please, bring comfy clothes, water bottle, a may or a towel :)
