ACRS PhD Invitational Honouring Prasannah Prabhakharan
Event description
This event will honour Dr Prasannah Prabhakharan (1986-2025), an esteemed colleague, road safety expert, and a cherished member of the Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS).
The evening will combine tributes from his road safety and academic colleagues, with a fresh initiative, "the PhD Invitational". Selected PhD candidates will each give a presentation on their fields of study relating to road safety. A beacon of hope for the future of road safety, Prasannah’s legacy will live on through the impact he made in road safety and the lives he touched along the way.
ACRS members as well as Prasannah's broader road safety and academic colleagues are encouraged to attend.
Arrive from 5:30pm for a 6pm start. Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the formal part of the evening (after 7pm).
