The Cult of Cleo is the opening chapter of The Optics of Cleo - a three-part multimedia theatre project by The Lucky Star Theatre Company.

Blending live performance, sculpture, installation and moving image, this intimate theatre experience unfolds as a ceremonial act of reclamation.

Rather than presenting a conventional narrative, The Cult of Cleo invites audiences into a shifting world where theatre, gallery installation and cult cinema collide. Borrowing from psychology, folklore, fairy tales and psychological horror, the work explores how stories are created, distorted and ultimately reclaimed through artistic practice.

Presented within NOWE Studios, audiences move through an immersive environment of projection, sculpture and live performance as Cleo gradually emerges through ritual, image and theatrical action.
