*An Awkward Affair(Comedy)
A reluctant burglar gets trapped inside the apartment of a two-timing couple when both return with their lovers.

History of Act 1 Theatre
A Storied History • Decades of Entertainment: The company has been operating for over 60 years, originally forming in Aspley in 1965 before moving to its current home in Strathpine. • A Strathpine Mainstay: Act 1 has been a fixture of the Strathpine area for more than 30 years, providing a creative outlet for generations of local performers and technicians. The Venue: Old Pine Shire Hall • Heritage Listed: The theatre operates out of the former Pine Rivers Shire Hall, a heritage-listed building constructed in 1889. • Historic Charm: As a former hub of local government, the building’s classic timber architecture and high ceilings provide a unique, intimate atmosphere that modern venues often lack. • Modern Comforts: Despite its age, the theatre features raked seating, ensuring every patron has a perfect view of the stage, and is equipped with a licensed bar for intermission.
