The Social Enterprise Council of NSW and ACT (SECNA) invites you to join SECNA champion, Karen Hedley, for the final event in the ACT region for 2025.

SECNA fosters engagement and connection with the social enterprise sector in NSW and ACT. Business for Good events give local social enterprises and their supporters a chance to meet, find new opportunities, ask for help, and share ideas with the wider for purpose community

The theme for this year's I-day is 'Fostering Disability Inclusive Societies for Advancing Social Progress' and as I-day is also celebrated on December 3, the gathering will showcase three local entrepreneurs that exibit these qualities.

This event will take place at EQ Cafe & Restaurant, which is located at 1/35 Hinder Street, Gungahlin.

Please note: We ask that you buy your own drinks and food at the event to support the venue

Social entrepreneurs (and people wanting to create a social enterprise)

What to expect:

Welcome and social enterprise sector updates from SECNA
I-day showcase featuring U Shape Us, Womens Shed Canberra & the Disability Leader's Institute.
Community asks and offers - each guest is given an opportunity to briefly introduce themselves/their organisation and then share one ask and/or offer of the community e.g. ‘we’re looking for warehouse space for refurbished items’ / ‘we’re experts in circular design and are happy to answer questions’ / ‘we're wanting to find a social enterprise to run our events’
