    Event description

Join us for an evening of celebration and connection at the annual ACT Environment Awards!

Our community works collaboratively and diversely to see climate and nature thrive.

Let’s join together to celebrate and connect with grassroots community groups, volunteers, supporters and environmentalists to celebrate the year’s achievements. Importantly the evening will include the presentation of the ACT Environment Awards 2023.

The Conservation Council is proud of the work we do and the community we are part of.

Wherever you live in our beautiful region, you’re part of a powerful community working together to protect our climate, unique wildlife and environment. It is only together that we can fight against the climate crisis and our declining natural world in our collective movement for environmental justice.

There are many ways to create positive change in the world. Everyone is encouraged to apply, with a diversity of experiences and achievements welcomed and recognised. This year we will be presenting three different awards – the Environmental Protection Award, the Moira and John Rowland Award for Young Environmental Achievement and the Working Together Award.

Find the nomination criteria for each award and make a nomination today! Applications close 9am 4 December 2023.
