Join us for an evening of celebration and connection at the annual ACT Environment Awards!

The ACT and region is full of amazing individuals and groups fighting to protect our environment and climate. We invite you to join us at a special evening to celebrate and connect with grassroots community groups, volunteers, supporters and environmentalists to celebrate the year’s achievements.

The evening will include the presentation of the ACT Environment Awards 2026 which have been generously sponsored this year by Capital Ecology.

Wherever you live in our beautiful region, you’re part of a powerful community working together to protect our climate, unique wildlife and environment. It is only together that we can fight against the climate crisis and our declining natural world in our collective movement for environmental justice.

Nominate your environmental champion now!

There are many ways to create positive change in the world. We encourage everyone to apply, as we are looking to celebrate a diversity of experiences and achievements. This year we will be presenting four different awards – the Environmental Protection Award, the Moira and John Rowland Award for Young Environmental Achievement, the Working Together Award, and the new Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by Addaxis. The awards are also supported by Capital Ecology. Nominations close 9am Monday 25th of May.
