ACT Environmental Volunteers Conference 2025
Event description
You’re invited to the 2025 ACT Environmental Volunteers Conference, a two-day gathering on Ngunawal Country hosted by the ACT Government and community Landcare this August!
Join us for inspiring field trips co-led by volunteer peers and experts to sites across the ACT on Friday, 8 August, followed by a day of interesting talks, workshops, and networking on Saturday, 9 August at the Ann Harding Conference Centre, University of Canberra, Bruce.
This year’s theme, Regeneration, embraces the many ways we renew and restore our environment, communities, and connections. The conference will explore a wide range of environmental volunteering topics: from regenerating ecosystems and restoring soil health, to strengthening volunteers’ connection to Country and revitalising the ACT’s volunteer base.
This empowering event will bring together volunteers, community organisations, experts, and policymakers to share knowledge, stories, and ideas. Whether you advocate for, support, or simply love our incredible local ecosystems, this conference is for you.
