    Event description

*In person tickets now sold out*

Federal MPs Alicia Payne, Andrew Leigh, David Smith and Senator Katy Gallagher invite you to a special interactive community forum, along with special guests Minister for Indigenous Australians Linda Burney, Professor Peter Yu and Aunty Violet Sheridan to learn more about the upcoming Voice referendum.

Together we will talk about why constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through a Voice to Parliament is a crucial step in the walk towards reconciliation as a country. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, share their feedback and learn about ways to engage in the local community.

This meeting is open to all community members and while in person tickets are sold out, you can join online.

This is an opportunity for our community to come together, learn, and engage in a constructive conversation about the Voice Referendum and its potential impact.

The Voice was a key ask from the Uluru Statement from the Heart which was an invitation to all Australians to recognise the ancestral ties that have existed for over 60,000 years and empower all First Nations people to have a Voice in their future.

We are wholeheartedly accepting the invitation and would like to invite you to join us to walk together towards this historic reform.
