The ACT Literary Awards are held annually to recognise and celebrate the achievements of writers from the ACT and surrounding regions. These prestigious honours include the MARION Book Awards, the June Shenfield National Poetry Awards, the Anne Edgeworth Fellowship Award, the MARION Fellowship, and The Marion Halligan Award.

We gratefully acknowledge the generous support of the Anderson Pender Foundation which has enabled prizes across all award categories this year.

Thank you to our fantastic sponsors and event partners who are supporting this event. Queer Food, Big River Co., She Shapes History, Pulp Book Cafe and Harry Hartog ANU. Books will be available for sale at this event.

MARION strives to ensure that this is a safe and accessible event for everyone. Canberra Contemporary Art Space has wheelchair access and an accessible toilet. On the night we request everyone who is able to wear a mask, please do so. If you do not feel well or have been in contact with a confirmed, or suspected case of COVID-19, have COVID-19, or are awaiting PCR test results please stay home.
