Join us on Good Friday and see the Museum in action!

Enjoy a great family day with vintage and steam machinery, blacksmith display, shearing and craft demonstrations, vehicle exhibition, kids' activities, markets, entertainment, food and drinks.

Buses on the hour from the Griffith Tourism Hub and parking with a shuttle bus at Dalton Park.

Book in advance and skip the queue - tickets available online and at the Museum!
Please note all online tickets will incur $1.60 per ticket processing fee.

Nestled in picturesque bushland, discover one of Griffith’s 'must visit' places and learn about the development of the MIA and what makes Griffith the place it is today. The open air Museum hosts picnic areas, original buildings, vintage machinery and artefacts. The Italian Museum and Cultural Centre, Wine & Irrigation Building and Todd Shed exhibitions all have their own stories to tell. Walk through Bagtown - 'Old Griffith' and experience the town’s commercial centre like it was in 1910. Visit on the first Sunday of the month for a guided tour on the Pioneer Park Express at 11am. See it come to life - Action Day is held on Good Friday each year and is the Museum’s biggest event!
