Actions for Animals (7 - 12 years) Spring
Description
At Actions for Animals Day, kids will connect with rescued animals and learn practical ways they can help animals at home, at school and in the community.
*This program is available to participants aged 7-12 years.
What you will learn
Turn kindness into action through animal experiences, storytelling and meaningful activities
Participants will explore how their actions and choices can create a better world for animals
Visit the barn to hear the stories of our rescued animals.

Certificate of attendance and mini gift bag!
What to bring
Lunch, snack and a drink bottle
What to wear
Closed in shoes for admittance into the barn.
NB: All programs are delivered and facilitated by qualified staff and do not require that parents/guardians stay during the session. If you feel that your child needs additional support, please discuss with a member of our team.
Sessions may include the following activities:
Tour of the Burwood East adoption facilities
Opportunities to make enrichment items for animals
Meet and greet with education dogs
Viewing of animal videos at lunch time.
Please note that not all activities involve animals. RSPCA’s education animals are carefully selected for their suitability for education programs and are given choice and control throughout all interactions with visitors. This framework aims to ensure that interactions are a safe and a positive experience for them.
