Activating Social Connection: Using the Toolkit
Event description
Experience the Social Connection Toolkit, explore its uses, connect with practitioners who made it and use it!
Social connection is a major public health and community participation issue.
The Activating Social Connection project has charted lived experiences of connection and disconnection in Melbourne’s fringe suburbs. It worked with residents, community staff and planners to codesign resources to fill social connection gaps, tested and implemented these.
Join us to discover the resources created, discuss how to use them and talk with community practitioners who already have. This event marks the end of the project so we invite you to discover and give feedback plus share your priority next steps.
