Are You struggling to live in a non-vegan world, knowing about the systematised cruelty towards animals? Do you feel often overwhelmed or burnt out in your activism?
We welcome you to Animal Liberation's 5th Animal Activist’s Emotional Wellbeing Forum

🦆9:45 - Mark Nestor, Opening address

🐶10:00 – 11:00 - Bede Carmody is the founder of A Poultry Place, a no kill sanctuary which offers a safe, permanent home to rescued and unwanted poultry (roosters, chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese).


11:00 - 11:15 - Short Break

🐥11:15 – 12:30 -Eloisa Mulet is a registered psychologist, graduated in Brazil, she moved to Australia in 1992 and obtained a Master degree of psychoanalysis through the Victoria University in 2010. 

🥧12:30 – 1:00 - Lunch will be catered by delicious Funky Pies! Please bring drinks with you! There are some shops across the road from the venue.

🐷1:00 – 2:00 - Clare Mann is an organisational psychologist, existential psychotherapist and author of numerous books and training programmes. 

2:00 – 2:15 - Short Break

🌿 2:15 – 3:15 - Ling Halbert is a practicing Buddhist, a teacher and Neuro-Linguistic Programming therapist and she will be presenting horticulture therapy with herbs to assist with self-healing.

🍫🧀 After Ling’s presentation we are off to a special vegan chocolate tasting to be hosted by the The Cruelty Free Shop which is just 3 bus stops back toward the city or a brisk walk. Chocolate after all is widely known as a great emotional healer. The Cruelty Free Shop is putting this on just for our attendees!

🚌 Transport: Bus routes 432, 433 and 444 stop on Glebe Point Road just past venue coming from city and almost across the road coming from opposite direction
