Founded in 2020 by journalist Bill Code, Wedge-Tail specialises in impact documentaries taking on topics from reconciliation and environmentalism (The Lake of Scars), the Gospers Mountain bushfire (Dancing with the Devil) and housing (SOLD! Who broke the Australian Dream?)

Bill Code is a director and producer focussing on social impact and environmental documentary. In 2022 he released the critically-acclaimed, Screen Australia-supported The Lake of Scars into cinemas nationwide, hosted by beloved late actor Uncle Jack Charles. Prior to working on longer-form films Bill was Al Jazeera English’s Australia/Pacific producer, head of video for Guardian Australia, and an online journalist at both the SBS and ABC, where he has also worked as a camera operator for shows including Compass and Australian Story. He’s made multiple shorts for BBC Online and has worked across Australia and the Pacific, the Middle East and Europe, starting off his career at the UK’s Channel 4 News.

Mark Humphries is a comedian, writer, and broadcaster best known for his viral political sketches on ABC’s 7.30 and regular appearances on Insiders. He has hosted ABC Radio National’s Saturday Evenings, Network Ten’s Pointless, and Channel Seven’s The 6:57pm News, alongside appearances on programs including Celebrity Letters and Numbers, Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell, and Hughesy We Have a Problem. Beyond television, Mark has co-created the Audible original Riot Act, co-authored two books (The Chaser’s Australia and On Politics and Stuff), and contributed writing to The Guardian, The Sun Herald, and The Chaser Quarterly. He has toured nationally with The Chaser’s War On… live shows and co-hosted the ABC90 Special in 2022.

Craig Reucassel is an Australian writer and comedian who is best known for his work with The Chaser and for going through your bins on The War on Waste. He and some friends started the satirical newspaper The Chaser which went on to TV shows like CNNNN and The Chaser's War on Everything. Craig has hosted three series of the award winning War on Waste documentary. He has also hosted climate change documentaries Fight for Planet A and Big Weather. In 2020 he Directed the movie Big Deal, which looked into the issue of money in politics in Australia. He is currently the host of the ABC 702 Breakfast show in Sydney.
