The ACTV Run For Resilience is back for its third year — and 2025 is set to be bigger and better than ever with events in two iconic locations: the Gold Coast and Geelong.

This annual charity run is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for mental health. Founded by Paris Lightfoot in memory of her father, who died by suicide in December 2022, what started as a personal tribute has become a powerful, community-driven movement to break the stigma and support mental wellness through physical activity.

This year, we’re proud to support Movember, the leading charity changing the face of men’s health.

Our run isn’t about racing — it’s about resilience. Each distance is designed to push you outside your comfort zone. If you normally run 10km, why not try for 12? You might surprise yourself.

You’ll be supported every step of the way by a passionate, like-minded community.

Why We Run

The Run For Resilience is more than just another run. It symbolises pushing through the hard moments, doing something bigger than yourself, and standing together in support of those battling mental health challenges.

In 2023, 150 runners raised $5.5k on the Gold Coast
In 2024, 250 runners raised $12k on the Gold Coast
In 2025, we're taking it to the next level — two cities, more runners, and an even greater impact for Movember globally

🌊 Gold Coast, QLD: 6-10am Saturday 7 June
Run from Broadbeach to Coolangatta with a finish line celebration by the beach.

22km start 6am: Kurrawa Surf Club to Coolangatta
12km start 6:45am: Tallebudgera Surf Club to Coolangatta
5km start 7:15am: Tugun Life Saving Club to Coolangatta
Finish Line Party: Outside Coolangatta Surf Club, Coolangatta

🌿 Geelong, VIC: 7:30-10:30am Saturday 21 June
New for 2025! A beautiful riverside run along the Barwon River.

22km: 7:30am
12km: 8:00am
5km: 8:30am
Course and start points to be confirmed and announced soon.

Registration/Donation/Merchandise

Your Athlete Registration of $40 is a direct donation to the Movember Charity supporting Mens Mental Health and is your cost to participate in the RFR 3.0 Gold Coast or Geelong. Please Make sure you register for the correct location and distance you wish to run.
Rep our Merch on Event Day! You will have optional Ad-ons to purchase our unique LSKD x Run For Resilience Merchandise: designed by Hello Mrgn Design. All profits from our RFR Merchandise are donated to the Movember Charity (over 5% per item). Your Merchandise will be included in your Athlete Packs
