Don’t miss this very rare opportunity to catch him doing a LIVE PA this evening!  Some may remember his performance at Groove Suite several years ago, which created quite the buzz in our city, and had many of us patiently waiting for that to happen again soon.  Well, it wasn’t soon enough, but we are here now! 

Ac$ has been producing and DJing since the mid 90s, which has seen him performing internationally in Japan, Russia, Thailand, Greece, and throughout the States over the years.

OG Portland dance music vets probably probably know him best for his creative take on techno, house, & acid DJ sets, but there’s many who’ve yet to hear his productions that have travelled throughout discerning underground circles these last 3 decades. AC had quietly been releasing music on his own label ‘Track 29’ over the years, and by 2014, it was clear his music had eventually caught the ears of many knowledgeable fans in Europe and beyond.  Several labels recognized his talents, and unique production style; where’d he’d soon see releases on Banoffee Pies, O.C.D., Baffling Noise, & Seekers in subsequent years.

Alex Picone:

Inspired producer, restless digger, party promoter, label and podcast series curator, record store and distribution owner, Alex Picone has been actively shaping the underground dance music scene with an authentic approach for the past two decades. Originally from Padua, Alex moved to Berlin in 2008, where began to emerge as a producer, with releases on labels such as Mixworks, Bass Culture or Cadenza.

In 2014 he created Seekers together with Mona Bit and the vinyl distribution Small Black Dots with Nick. In 2020 he moved to Barcelona and opened the physical record shop, becoming the headquarter of his label, distribution and music studio.

In Alex's sound you can feel his Italian roots in the raw and techno feel of his style, infused with electro, housy or trancy elements. Driving, rolling and powerful, his sets have that special ability to reach high levels of intensity while remaining deep, cerebral and intelligent. His sound is full of those electronic creatures and intriguing sounds that translate Alex's experimental, almost scientific approach to music. The atmosphere of his sets hovers between the dark and the joyful, without ever falling into one or the other, the result of years of research and of a refined artistic maturity.

Jon A.D.:

Jon is a DJ, record store & label owner based right here in Portland.  Started House label Losonofono Records in 1999, established his record store Anthem Records in 2004 and launched Dubstep label LoDubs in late 2006.

He has been an important dance music fixture in Portland for a VERY long time.  Not only is he an exceptional DJ, with highly eclectic taste; but he’s always been incredibly adept at unselfishly providing record collectors & DJs alike - with many of the gems you’re sure to hear throughout his DJ sets.  We are always blown away by his selections, and what will undoubtedly be another musical journey for this evening.
