ACWA is hosting three Strategy to Action days over 2024, with the first scheduled for Thursday 7th March from 10am to 2.30pm at Sydney Masonic Centre. Whether you're a manager of a team, project worker or specialist in your field, ACWA Strategy to Action Days are for those who wish to stay informed and connected to the latest developments in OOHC, family preservation, family and domestic violence and youth and crime spaces.Â

Family Preservation Panel: Engaging families in change: How are agencies strengthening engagement with families? Featuring Uniting, Social Futures, The Benevolent Society and Nepean Community and Neighbourhood Centres.
OOHC Panel: Transition to Independence: What works in supporting young people during this crucial time? Featuring CREATE, Southern Youth and Family Services, CASPA and Uniting
11.20am - 12.15pm
Family Preservation Presentation: Exploring the Data - collaborating as a sector to share insights about family preservation services. Presented by Garima Misra.
Family Preservation Panel: What factors are associated with successful outcomes for families referred to services? Featuring Social Futures, Wesley Mission and Anglicare.
OOHC Panel: OOHC Relational Care - finding and seeing family and connections for long-term belonging. Featuring Allambi, Wesley Mission, SSI and PIC/Centre for Relational Care.

Lunch and Networking
1pm - 2.15pm
All-in Panel: DATA, DATA, DATA: What do the numbers tell us about family vulnerability and why that's important? Featuring BOCSAR and FACSIAR.
All-in presentation: Reflections and Q*A.
