A Word About Accessibility
Hello! My name is Rory and I'm the AD Space Coordinator. I also wrote this access guide below!
I personally identify as a member of the queer disabled community. I have Hidden Disability, Mental Health First Aid, and Accessible Arts training.
However, my disabilities generally do not require me to navigate spaces with prior consideration to my physical access needs. If you feel that there could be a change made to better AD Space regarding access and inclusion, or you have a question about the accessibility of our online and physical spaces/exhibitions, please reach out. We encourage all kinds of feedback, especially constructive critique, your personal experiences, and general recommendations.
AD Space strives to run our shows with accessibility, inclusivity, and transparency as our primary goals, not afterthoughts. Accessibility and inclusivity by nature is forever in a state of constant evolution. Thus, we will always welcome the opportunity to work directly with our community to help each other grow and flourish.
Please let us know if you have any questions or queries about attending. We look forward to welcoming you into our space!

Accessibility @ AD Space
- Public Transport:
AD Space is highly accessible by many modes of public transport. Most commonly, attendees travel by train to either Central Station, Museum Station, or Town Hall Station to enter the city. Then they catch a bus like the 333, 440, or 339 to connect to the Paddington Campus.
- Free Shuttle:
UNSW has a free shuttle that operates between the Kensington and Paddington campus on an hourly rotation. This is a great option if you live on campus in the Villages and Collages.
- Car/personal transport:
UNSWADA Paddington offers very limited parking onsite, usually only reserved for visitors with access requirements. Please plan carefully as onstreet parking is ticketed and limited.
- Locating AD Space on Campus
AD Space is located at the Paddington Campus of UNSWADA. We are in E-Block, Ground floor, room codes EG01 and EG03. An interactive map can be found here:
(Make sure you have selected the 'Paddington' map option, not Kensington)
