Event description

Adaptive Leadership Masterclass

with Simon Fieldhouse

In a context of rapid shifts and increasing complexity, leaders are being invited to navigate uncertainty like never before. Adaptive leadership offers various tools and approaches to redefine resistance, navigate complexity and ultimately steward transformation across ourselves so we can respond meaningfully in teams, organisations, and systems for a more hopeful future.

This full-day masterclass explores the practice of adaptive leadership — creating a space to slow down so we can honour the speed in our contexts.  We will explore the light and shadow of our current and emerging contexts.  We will lean into evolution and invite new possibilities.  Through hands-on exercises, small-group exploration and insightful dialogue, you’ll gain practical tools to lead with curiosity, courage, and compassion.

Adaptive Leadership helps us move beyond quick fixes to the deeper, often uncomfortable work of reimagining how we live and lead. This workshop is for those ready to examine how they have learned to be in the world as leaders and to explore the value of embracing flexibility in their future leadership.

This masterclass is for:

  • Leaders and managers working in rapidly changing or complex environments

  • Professionals in business, not-for-profit, philanthropy, and public sectors

  • Change agents and team leads who want to cultivate adaptive cultures of learning and responsiveness

  • Anyone looking to build their capacity to navigate complexity and support transformation

You’ll walk away with:

  • Practical frameworks and tools for navigating uncertainty

  • Techniques for redefining resistance constructively and creating cultures of learning

  • Strategies for guiding teams and organisations through complexity

  • Tools to support inclusive decision-making, collaborative problem-solving, and systemic thinking

  • Confidence in your capacity to catalyse growth, collaboration, and innovation for self, teams and systems
