LACEDÂ
In this exhibition, LACED, three NSW artists, Jane Theau, Maggie Hensel-Brown and Tina
Fox, give contemporary expression to this traditional artform. The works demonstrate the range of techniques
used in lace making to create personal portraits or comment on social issues.
Vessels: Transcending Tradition
Australian Design Centre and the National Indigenous Art Fair (NIAF) present Vessels: Transcending
Tradition. This exhibition, curated by ADC First Nations Program Coordinator Miah Madden, is a capsule
collection of exhibition work from some of the Art Centres participating in NIAF at the Overseas Passenger
Terminal from 29-30 June 2024.
Object Space:Â Canopy
Vicki Mason’s contemporary jewellery installation, Canopy, responds to the illegal poisoning of large trees, an issue that contributes to accelerating temperatures in urban areas.
