"Hunter from Elsewhere is a poetic exploration of an excitingly unknown and highly inspiring universe. As we accompany the Australian artist around the globe, Helen Britton’s incredible attention to material and detail teaches us that the closer we look at things, the more they have to tell us."
Helen Britton is the tenth artist to be nominated as a Living Treasure Master of Australian Craft by the Australian Design Centre. The exhibition The Story So Far | Helen Britton will open at ADC on Wednesday 27 August 2025.
This film screening is presented with the permission of the filmmaker Elena Alvarez Lutz and with the generous support of EVT.
All proceeds from the evening will directly support Australian Design Centre's fundraising appeal to continue our work as the only organisation in New South Wales that platforms and supports the full spectrum of craft and design practice.
There is also a chance to win a unique brooch generously donated by the artist Helen Britton in support of ADC’s fundraising efforts. You can buy $10 tickets in the raffle via this ticket link.
Bookings are essential and tickets are limited for this very special event.
