A little about Addi Road:
Working with the community, Addi Road elevate human rights, arts & culture and sustainability.
Every week Addi Road divert over 12 tonnes of food from landfill and provide food to more than 8,500 people at their two Addison Road Community Organisation Food Pantries and Food Relief Hubs.
What to Expect:
Location: Addison Road Community Organisation, Marrickville
Time: Thursday mornings, 9am - 12.00pm (fortnightly sessions)
Session Highlights:
Introduction: Begin at 9am with an insightful overview of Addi Road impact and dreams.
Volunteer Tasks: Join our Addi Road chef to help cook delicious and nutritious meals made mostly from rescued ingredients to support vulnerable communities.
Tour: A guided tour of Addi Road's historic and bustling community space.
Important Details:
Group Size: 3 - 6 team members per session
Cost: $150 per person plus GST. Invoices are issued upon booking, or you can pay by credit card. Payment is required to confirm your session.
What to wear: Make sure to come dressed in casual clothing and enclosed shoes. Aprons will be provided on the day.
Accessibility: Public transport to Addi Road via the 428 bus from CBD. This experience includes manual labour, lifting and carrying. Volunteers will need to be alert and able to follow instructions.
Catering: We will have light refreshments (tea, coffee and water) available on the day. There are two on-site cafes where your team can connect, take a well-earned break and have lunch post-volunteering experience.

💡 Cancellations & Rescheduling
Should you wish to cancel or reschedule your shift, you can do so up to 30 days prior to your session date for a full refund. If you cancel between 14 -30 days before your shift, we may apply a 50% cancellation fee. We do not offer refunds for shifts cancelled or rescheduled within 14 days of your designated shift date.
