Additional Cittimani Tara Puja for Geshe Doga's Long Life
Description
Tara Institute is delighted to announce an additional Cittamani Tara Puja for our precious Geshe Doga, to be held on Friday, 16 October, from 1:00–3:00 pm.
Initially, we had planned to offer a White Tara Puja. However, after consideration, Geshe Doga has advised that a Cittamani Tara Puja would be most beneficial at this time.
We have the incredibly auspicious opportunity to welcome three Geshes from Adelaide and two Geshes from Drolkar Buddhist Centre, who will be staying at Tara Institute to participate in the preparations for Geshe Doga’s Long Life Puja.
In total, eight Geshes will be attending this additional puja. They have warmly expressed their wish for Tara Institute students to come together and join them in offering prayers and creating the causes and conditions for Geshe Doga’s long, healthy and beneficial life.
This is a particularly precious opportunity for our community to come together in devotion and gratitude and to rejoice in the kindness and teachings of our beloved teacher.
Date: Friday, 16 October
Time: 1:00–3:00 pm
Venue: Tara Institute
We warmly encourage students to join us for this auspicious occasion and to offer our collective prayers for Geshe Doga’s long and healthy life.
