Addressing local domestic and family violence

You are invited to a R4MH seminar to be hosted by R4MH*

Cooroy Memorial Hall, Maple Street, Cooroy (next to RSL Club)

5:30pm for 6:00pm Keynote presentation

Keynote speaker, Sgt Ryan Hanlon, A/Senior Sergeant, OIC Police Noosa Heads and Sergeant, OIC Eumundi will outline the scale of the local problem, the tools Police and community members may use to assist address this serious scourge via shared actions across our part of the Sunshine Coast.

Following questions, attendees are invited to meet members of R4MH (Rotarians for Mental Health – 5 local Rotary Club reps), and to hear short additional speeches outlining successful efforts to “Say No to Domestic and Family Violence” and to say “Yes to Respectful Relationships”.

We will then briefly explore some specific simple and effective steps we might all take to “do our bit”. 

7pm:  Full meal fare available afterwards at RSL Club – make own booking.
