The Elder Conservatorium and the University of Adelaide present a Double Bass Day, bringing together performers, teachers, students, luthiers and exhibitors from all over Australia. Hosted in Elder Hall, the day will feature recitals, masterclasses, jazz clinics, lecture demonstrations, ensemble playing and concerts suited for all ages and levels.

Featured performers and educators include Phoebe Russell, David Schilling, Lyndon Grey, Andrew Tait, Stuart Riley, Jonathan Coco, Stevie Newton, Rob Nairn, Aurora Henrich, Peter McLachlan, Rebecca Scully, and Georgia Gamble.

Music for the mass-bass works, which we will rehearse during the day and perform in the final concert, will be sent out as pdfs after online registration. The music is kindly supplied by Recital Music in the UK and there will be parts for all levels of bass players.
