Adelaide Premiere: Find Me, Okay?
Description
Adelaide Premiere | Special Documentary Screening
The State Zionist Council of South Australia invites you to the Adelaide Premiere of Find Me, Okay?, an award-winning Israeli documentary, hosted at the Adelaide Holocaust Museum.
Filmed over two years, this deeply moving documentary follows the family of Eden Yerushalmi, who was abducted by Hamas from the Nova Music Festival on 7 October 2023, and their extraordinary journey through uncertainty, hope, grief and devastating loss.
On the morning of 7 October, Eden and her best friend, Arbel, were dancing at the Nova Music Festival in southern Israel. Hours later, Eden was kidnapped and taken to Gaza, while her sisters listened helplessly over the phone.
What begins as a family's desperate fight to bring Eden home becomes an intimate and heartbreaking portrait of love, resilience and the struggle to rebuild in the face of unimaginable loss.
Through unprecedented access to Eden's mother, sisters and best friend, director Yula Gidron captures both the public campaign for Eden's return and the deeply personal experiences of those closest to her.
Winner of Best Israeli Debut Feature at the 2026 Jerusalem Film Festival, Find Me, Okay? offers a powerful and deeply human account of the lasting impact of 7 October and the families whose lives were forever changed.
We invite you to join us for this special screening and an opportunity to come together as a community to remember, reflect and bear witness.
