Jacqui and Brenton Edgecombe are the Adelaide String Duo. They are a violin & cello duo from South Australia who play for events of all types. Their extensive song-list ranges from serious classical music, musical theatre and traditional tunes to quirky arrangements of pop hits and rock anthems. Violin & cello is a wonderful combination because it provides both the bass and treble ranges of the musical spectrum.
Adelaide String Duo is more than just a violin cello duo. Individually they have played in orchestra and ensembles throughout Australia, including Adelaide Symphony, Sydney Symphony, Tasmanian Symphony, West Australian Symphony, Bolshoi Ballet Orchestra, Sydney Opera House Orchestra and many more. Also with our 20-years of main-stage entertainment experience, we can be as entertaining are the audience requires.
