Format/Process of Group: Each member of the group will get the opportunity to meet on a bi-weekly basis for six weeks to discuss and learn about ADHD, medication, and process in a safe way their experiences. Below is the weekly plan for topic discussion-

Week 1) What is ADHD?: Psychoeducation around the disorder including the epidemiology and pathophysiology

Week 2) ADHD Diagnostics: Review on how it is diagnosed across the lifespan and across gender spectrum

Week 3) ADHD Symptoms: Discussion about symptoms, misconceptions and social media portrayal of the disorder

Week 4) ADHD Medications: Review most common treatments including medications and how they work, common side effects, how to handle them

Week 5) Diet and ADHD: Discuss what foods can help and worsen symptoms and practical ways to include and avoid them in everyday life

Week 6) Relationship Health & Behavior Modification Tools for ADHD: Discuss some of the common difficulties in maintaining healthy relationships with ADHD (Parenting, romance, friendships and family of origin relationships) and what tools are available to manage symptoms outside of medications.
