adidas Superstar x Foot Locker Sylvia Park - Heeds Native Tattoo Residency

For SS26, adidas Originals’ Superstar returns with a simple truth: icons don’t answer to time - they create it. Born from sport and adopted by culture, Superstar has always been re-authored by the people and communities who wear it.

To mark the launch in Aotearoa, Foot Locker Sylvia Park will host a one-day in-store takeover led by tā moko artist and contemporary Māori creative Heeds Native. The store transforms into a live expression of the campaign - where customers can step inside the story, not just shop it.

HOW TO ACCESS
Purchase any adidas apparel or footwear at a Foot Locker New Zealand store or online at www.footlocker.co.nz during the promotional period and register via this page to be considered for access to the on-the-day experiences. Selected participants will be contacted with confirmation and session details.

Terms & Conditions

1. Promoters

The promoters are adidas and Foot Locker New Zealand (together, the “Promoters”). Agencies and partners (including Tide Communications and/or production suppliers) may assist with administration only.

2. Promotional Period

The promotion opens 12:00am NZST on 6 May 2026 and closes 11:59pm NZST on 23 May 2026 (“Promotional Period”).

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who purchase an eligible product during the Promotional Period and complete the entry requirements in these Terms & Conditions.
Employees of the Promoters (and their immediate families), and agencies/suppliers directly associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

Important: While entry is open nationwide, the mini prize tattoos are redeemed in-person at Foot Locker Sylvia Park, Auckland on 23 May 2026. All travel and associated costs to attend are the winner’s responsibility.

4. How to Enter

To enter, eligible customers must, during the Promotional Period:
a) Purchase one (1) pair of adidas Superstar footwear from any Foot Locker store in New Zealand (eligible purchase); and
b) Submit an entry via the official promotion event page hosted on Humanitix, including uploading a clear photo/scan of the purchase receipt and providing required contact details.

Entries must be received by the Promoters by the end of the Promotional Period. Incomplete, illegible, altered or fraudulent receipts/entries will be deemed invalid.

Limit: One (1) entry per eligible purchase receipt. The Promoters may, at their discretion, limit entries per person to prevent abuse.

5. Prizes

There are 11 prizes to be won in total.

Mini Prizes (10): Ten (10) winners will each receive one (1) mini tattoo session by Heeds Native valued at NZD $400 each.

• Each mini prize must be redeemed in-store at Foot Locker Sylvia Park, Auckland on 23 May 2026 (event day) at the winner’s allocated time slot. 

• Mini prize includes one (1) tattoo. Tattoo design, placement, size and time allocation are determined by the artist and subject to suitability. 

Major Prize (1): One (1) winner will receive one (1) large tattoo by Heeds Native valued at NZD $2,000 to be redeemed at Heeds Native’s studio (date/time by mutual agreement and subject to availability).

• Major prize includes one (1) tattoo. Tattoo design, placement, size and session scheduling are determined by the artist and subject to suitability. 

Total prize pool value: NZD $6,000.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

6. Winner Selection (Draw)

This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part.
Winners will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period. The draw will take place on 21st May at Foot Locker HQ.

7. Winner Notification and Prize Claim

Winners will be contacted using the details provided in their entry (email and/or phone) within 2 hours of the draw.
Mini prize winners must confirm attendance at the Sylvia Park event and will be allocated a tattoo time slot. If a winner does not respond by Noon 22nd May, the Promoters may re-draw their prize.

Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and the original purchase receipt to verify eligibility.

8. Tattoo-specific conditions 

Tattooing is a permanent body modification and participation is entirely voluntary. By entering and/or accepting a prize, entrants acknowledge and agree that:

• They are opting in to receive a tattoo and understand it is permanent. 

• Tattooing involves inherent risks (including pain, swelling, irritation, allergic reaction, infection, scarring or other complications). 

• Tattoo services are provided by Heeds Native and/or the relevant studio and are not provided by the Promoters. 

• All tattoo design, placement, size, session length and suitability are at the artist’s discretion and subject to consultation. 

• The artist/studio may refuse to tattoo (or may modify the design/placement) for health, safety, legal or professional reasons, including if the entrant is deemed unsuitable for tattooing. In such cases, the prize may be forfeited and no cash or substitute will be provided, unless required by law. 

• Winners are responsible for following all aftercare instructions and for any costs not expressly included (including travel, accommodation, aftercare products, and any additional tattoo work beyond the prize value). 

Winners may be required to complete and sign the tattoo studio’s waiver/consent forms and comply with all studio policies and hygiene requirements.

9. Event attendance (Mini Prize)

Mini prize tattoos must be redeemed at Foot Locker Sylvia Park on 23 May 2026 at the allocated time. If a winner fails to attend their slot (or arrives late and cannot be accommodated), the prize may be forfeited at the Promoters’ discretion.

10. Verification and Disqualification

The Promoters may verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an invalid receipt, provides false information, or breaches these Terms & Conditions.

11. Publicity and Content

Winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional activity connected with the promotion (e.g., photos/video on event day), unless prohibited by law. If content is captured, winners may be asked to sign a separate content release.

12. Privacy

Personal information will be collected and used to administer the promotion (including contacting winners and managing prize redemption). It may be shared with relevant third parties for these purposes (e.g., Humanitix, event administrators, and the tattoo studio). Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoters’ privacy policies and applicable privacy laws.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights a consumer may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoters are not responsible for any loss, damage, illness or injury arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance/use of a prize, including (without limitation) risks associated with receiving a tattoo, except where caused by the Promoters’ negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.

14. General

The Promoters reserve the right to cancel, suspend or vary the promotion (including prize redemption arrangements) if circumstances beyond their reasonable control arise, subject to applicable laws.
