Adolescent Program Tour - Thursday 29th October 2026

Prospective families are invited to meet our Principal for a tour and presentation of our Metricup Campus (Newly Opened in 2025) for our Adolescent Program (Years 7-12), situated on our farm property in Metricup. Join us to learn about the Montessori method and how, guided by Maria Montessori's principles, we are nurturing the next generation of creative and independent thinkers to develop a life-long love of learning.

Preparing for Your Visit

We will be in touch prior to the tour to confirm your attendance and provide some additional information for your review. While some of this information may already be familiar, revisiting it beforehand often helps families arrive with a stronger foundation for further questions about Montessori education, our programs, and their child’s potential pathway through the School. If you are using GPS navigation when travelling to the School, we encourage you to double-check the campus location, as some mapping services may route visitors to the closest Margaret River Montessori campus rather than the specific campus where this event is being held.

Arrival & Sign-In

• Please arrive at the Front Office to sign in and collect your name tag.
• The tour begins promptly at 9:30am.
• If you are unexpectedly delayed, we completely understand — please call ahead (08 9757 2564) where possible, and a team member will guide you to join the tour in progress.

What the Tour Involves

• The tour is facilitated by Lisa, our Principal. The Enrolments Officer will also be in attendance to assist and to get to know your family.

• You will receive an overview of Montessori education, our learning spaces, and the structure of the Adolescent Program. Questions are warmly encouraged throughout.

• We will begin with a short presentation, usually followed by a discussion with some of our current students. Students are invited on the morning of the tour to volunteer for this conversation. On the rare occasion that no students are available due to study commitments or other reasons, this portion may be skipped. However, we almost always have students’ volunteer. We intentionally do not organise this in advance so visiting families can experience authentic, unrehearsed perspectives from our students.

• Following this, we will take a walk through the classrooms and grounds while students are on their morning break.

• Time is allocated at the conclusion of the tour for discussion and further questions (you are of course welcome to leave earlier if you have other commitments). Tours generally run for approximately 1–1.5 hours to allow for meaningful exploration and conversation.

• Groups are typically limited to around 12 participants to ensure an intimate and informative experience, while also minimising disruption to the students’ learning environment.

Children Attending

We welcome and encourage children aged 10 years and above to attend this tour. If you have not booked a ticket for your child(ren) ad they can attend, please let me know so I can add them. If you have children younger than this age and childcare is not available or appropriate, please feel welcome to contact us so we can discuss adding your child to the booking. Please keep in mind that our Adolescent Program Campus is situated on a working farm. As such, there are water bodies and other farm environments present. For safety reasons, children must remain with the tour group at all times and must be supervised by their parent or guardian throughout the visit.
