🌍 About the Event

Join us for a relaxed and creative afternoon designed exclusively for African Australian intercountry adoptees. Hosted by Ethiopian adoptees, this free, private event is all about connection, community, and creative expression.

Enjoy a guided painting session alongside other adoptees while sipping on drinks, snacking on delicious bites, and sharing stories. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just curious, you're welcome here.

All painting materials, food, and drinks will be provided – just bring yourself!

Mission: Adoptee Zema empowers African Australian adoptees by fostering belonging, connection, and community.

We create safe spaces through education, storytelling, and events to explore identity and culture. Grounded in intersectionality, equity, and trust, we’re here to support each other and strengthen our ties – locally and globally.

This event is open to African and intercountry adoptees only. We kindly ask that allies, friends, and adoptive family members sit this one out — this space is specifically for adoptees to gather and grow together.
