Adorned - Gold Coast

Embark on a transformative journey with Adorned, a live performance by the Sunshine Coast-based dance company, kin. Immerse yourself in the captivating fusion of contemporary dance, sculpture, and painting, guided by the rhythmic pulse of an original soundtrack by Jag Popham.

Adorned is more than just a performance—it's an immersive exploration of self-discovery and reflection. It seeks to revive the lost art of adornment and foster a reconnection with the spirit of objects and nature. Through the collaborative nature of the performance, visual artists Tess Miller and Chloe Watego create new artworks in real-time in response to the movement of the two dancers, Asher Bowen Saunders and Bella Hood.

Adorned aim's to inspire a cultural shift towards generation and creativity, moving away from greed and mindless consumption.
