ADP HDR Research Lounge # 1 session: Designing Everyday Futures
Description
Curious about what design research looks like beyond coursework?
Designing Everyday Futures brings together HDR researchers, academics, and a small group of undergraduate and Master’s students for an informal afternoon of research, conversation and connection.
Three HDR researchers will share their current work exploring how design responds to changing technologies, environments, communities and everyday experiences. From smart homes and spatial audio to participatory approaches to justice reform, the session offers a glimpse into the diverse possibilities of design research.
Rather than a formal conference, this is a relaxed and supportive space to hear about research questions, methods, emerging findings and challenges, followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
We’re inviting 10 ADP undergraduate and Master’s coursework students who are curious about research or considering HDR study to join the HDR community for the session. Student_Led_HDR_Research_Sustai…
Come along to listen, ask questions, meet researchers and discover where design research could take you.
