August 29th will be an exciting reunion of two of Australia's finest Jazz musicians.
Adrian Mears and Andrew Dickeson started their professional careers already as teenagers and ever since they have nurtured a strong empathetic and creative musical relationship.
Adrian Mears now resides in Germany and, as well as being an extremely in-demand performer, is a highly regarded composer, bandleader and educator. For the past 25 years he has been a professor at Europe’s most prestigious Jazz institutes.
Also renowned as a prolific composer, the performance will feature an exciting mix of Adrian's originals and handcrafted arrangements of classic jazz standards.
Andrew Dickeson is one of the leading lights on the Australian jazz scene. While building a strong overseas career he is very active in music education also.
For this incredible one-off event they will be joined by the amazing pianist, bandleader and educator Kevin Hunt and one of Australia’s premier bassists, the wonderful Jonathan Zwartz.
There is no bar at Church St.
Doors at 7pm music commences at 7.30pm.
