Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Course

This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults.

This lifesaving training equips participants with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to recognize and respond effectively to medical emergencies involving adults. Designed to build confidence and quick decision-making, this course prepares individuals to act when seconds matter.

Through instructor-led instruction, demonstrations, and practical skill practice, this course covers:

• Emergency Recognition and Response: Identifying medical emergencies and taking immediate, appropriate action.

• Adult CPR Techniques: Performing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults.

• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use: Safe and effective operation of an AED during cardiac emergencies.

• First Aid for Common Injuries and Illnesses: Managing bleeding, burns, choking, shock, fractures, and sudden illnesses.

• Scene Safety and Assessment: Evaluating emergency scenes to protect responders and victims.

• Legal and Safety Considerations: Understanding Good Samaritan laws and responder responsibilities.

• Emergency Preparedness and Communication: Coordinating with emergency medical services (EMS) until professional help arrives.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
