Learn to make your own light fitting with designer Stuart Williams

In conjunction with the Clarence Prize for Excellence in Furniture Design, Tasmanian furniture and lighting designer Stuart Williams is leading a two-day hands-on workshop where participants can create their own pendant light or table lamp fitting.

Across the weekend you’ll experiment with material, form, and function, and experience the creative satisfaction of producing a working prototype to take home.

All electrical components — lamp holder, cord, and plug — will be supplied. We’ll also send you a list of suggested materials and ideas to bring along, so you can make your piece truly your own.
