Adults evening art class | 6pm - 7.30pm Thursdays
This studio style art class is for people wanting to get creative and develop practical art skills in a relaxed social class designed to inspire!
This 9 week program is broken into three x 3 week units
Weeks 1-3: Light & shade | using different drawing materials like pastel, charcoal, graphite and ink to create drawings that have depth, shape and life! Great for beginners and as a skill builder for those with drawing and art skills!
Weeks 4-6: Watercolour | 3 fun projects that explore the different ways to create art using water colour.
Weeks 7-9: Mixed media | using different art supplies and materials to create multi layered works of art - a wildly creative play with abstract, texture, collage & traditional art skills like drawing and painting
You will need:
An A3 size Visual Art Diary - choose one with a paper you like the feel of!
You can buy these locally at the Book Den on Vincent st, Memo Office & Art, Big W, Dollar world near subway and the reject shop
All other materials are supplied
Suitable for:
adults and older teenagers
absolute beginners through to those with intermediate painting/drawing skills.
People seeking a warm, welcoming class to meet new people and enjoy a low pressure creative environment
