Event description

This workshop draws upon Connect.Ed’s multidisciplinary team to help you understand and engage with adult learners with ADHD. ADHD is a neurodevelopment condition in which individuals experience differences in attention, focus and impulse control, which influence how they manage tasks, organise information and regulate emotions.

Through this workshop, you will:

  • Increase your understanding of the varied presentation of ADHD in adults
  • Practice neuro-affirming and strengths-based language
  • Learn about strategies to support executive functioning, attention, working memory, and regulation
  • Identify practical classroom adaptations to improve engagement, reduce overwhelm, and support learner success.
