Advancing Housing Justice Grant Round - Applicant Workshop

Our Advancing Housing Justice priority themed grant round opens in July. This grants round seeks to enable the levers available to the legal assistance sector to improve housing outcomes for Victorians. Consequently, we will be seeking applications, with a strategic focus aiming to achieve long-term change, from:

• organisations partnering to tackle the issue together
• collaborations that include a legal partner

Workshop Focus Areas

During this facilitated workshop we will delve into the three focus areas identified by the Advancing housing justice: an opportunity for legal services to improve access to housing report:

• improving renter rights and provider accountability
• Improving the housing support system
• Promoting innovation and improving responses for specific groups

Workshop Objectives

• Testing - Sense-checking the report recommendations. Discussing new developments or gaps.
• Prioritising - As a collective, what are the opportunities that will provide the best strategic impact?
• Collaborating - Bringing organisations together and  building partnerships.
• Guiding - Outlining our expectations and how to apply to the grant round.

Please confine your registrations to a maximum of two staff per organisation.
