Event description

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN DATE TO TUESDAY 9TH MARCH

As youth workers it can be helpful when we can work with young people to ‘review’ their experiences so that they can learn and grown from them.  In this workshop we will be exploring a simple but effective model for facilitating growth conversations – both with groups after structured activities and also in one-on-one situations.  Hopefully you will leave the sessions with some skills and tools you can put into practice straight away.

About the facilitator:

Amy Horn has worked with young people for nearly 20 years focussing on youth development and therapeutic work mostly through outdoor adventure.  She works for Adventure Specialties Trust and is super passionate about young people learning from experiences!  Her background is outdoor instruction, counselling, youth work and adventure therapy.

Parking:

There is parking in the Grace Seafield car park, or street parking is available on Beresford Street.  There is a separate building entrance at 68 Beresford street which is the end that is closest to the gym.
