Join father and daughter Carl Valerius and Kim May for a fun and relaxed day of sculpting at Val May Studio. Carl is a master sculptor and creator of Bill the Bastard, and together Carl and Kim will demonstrate essential sculpting techniques, share tips of the trade and help you develop your own skills throughout the day.

Never sculpted before? No experience is needed. Already experienced? Come along, pick up some new tips and techniques, and enjoy creating in a relaxed studio environment. Everyone will leave with something they can be proud of, and hopefully a few good stories from Carl along the way!

Personalised bust

Prefer something more guided? Start from a pre-sculpted bust and personalise it using a photo of your own.

Free-form

Prefer to go your own way? You’ll be given sculpting clay and complete freedom to create whatever inspires you.

All tools and sculpting clay provided, plus morning tea and a light lunch.
