The Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA) is partnering with Prevent Support Heal to host a FREE all-day training workshop to develop and strengthen your skills in campaigning and advocacy.

This workshop will cover a variety of tools and strategies essential to campaigning, including:

Talking to the media
Effective phone-banking & door-knocking
Using social media to spread your message
Impactful storytelling
Meeting with and writing to your MP

You’ll be learning from veteran campaigner, journalist and media consultant Sarah Quinton from Prevent, Support, Heal and policy experts from the WA Association for Mental Health (WAAMH).

Places are strictly limited and attendance is by registration only. If you are unable to attend, please contact mason@yacwa.org.au.

Registration is available for young people aged 12 to 25. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Foyer Oxford is accessible by car and public transport. Leederville Station is approximately 500m away and the bus route 15 stops nearby from Perth or Glendalough Station. Paid street parking and timed parking is available on Richmond Street.
