Event description

Come celebrate the end of another year of exciting music-making with the first concert in our Finale Celebration, Exciting Evolution. Be prepared to be entranced, enthralled and entertained as our Youth Strings, Junior Winds and Sinfonia take you on journeys with superheroes, into haunted houses and onto the streets of 19th century Paris!

Located in the stunningly beautiful (sight and sound) Adelaide Town Hall, bring your family and be prepared for a delightful afternoon of ecstatic and eclectic music!

This is part of our 2 part concert series as part of our 2023 Finale Celebration.

Each year Adelaide Youth Orchestras (AdYO) provides top music education programs and career pathways for South Australia’s brightest young musicians.

AdYO services and supports 300 young musicians participating each week during school terms a range of large ensembles (Youth Orchestra, Symphonic Winds, Wind Orchestra, Sinfonia, and Junior Strings), an exciting Percussion Ensemble, and smaller chamber groups. Since 2021, AdYO has supported more than 2,000 emerging young musicians to engage with our programs.

To provide talented young South Australian musicians with orchestral training, life skills and education in a safe, empowering and joyful environment.
