AEDC Forum - Understanding and supporting children's development
Event description
Parents, carers, educators and early years service providers are invited to join us in a workshop to understand what the Australian Early Development Census data - released this year - has to tell us about how children in the City of Belmont are faring developmentally by the time they reach full-time school.
Together, we will explore what the AEDC data is telling us about how our children are faring across five developmental domains; physical health, social competence, emotional maturity, language and cognitive skills and communication and general skills, and identify where we are best placed to work together to optimise children’s development.
Together we will explore:
- the City of Belmont AEDC results.
- what may have contributed to the results, including the strengths of the community.
- where our efforts can have the biggest impact for young children across Belmont.
