Afghanistan 25th Anniversary Commemorative Service - Sunday 11 October

This year marks 25 years since Australia's involvement in the Afghanistan conflict began.

To mark this anniversary, the Castle Hill & District RSL Sub-Branch is hosting a commemorative service to honour the defence personnel who served in Afghanistan.

The service will be held at:

Centenary of ANZAC Reserve, Castle Hill,

Commencing at 10am on Sunday 11 October.

Seating will be available.

Following the service, all attendees are invited to join us for refreshments in the Gallery, Level 3, Castle Hill RSL Club.

Afghanistan veterans are warmly welcome, whether or not they are members of the Sub-Branch. If you know an Afghanistan veteran who would like to attend, please feel free to share this event with them.

Please register by Thursday 1 October so we can organise catering. When registering, please let us know if you are an Afghanistan veteran and whether any veteran friends will be coming with you.

We hope you can join us as we come together to recognise the service and sacrifice of all who served.
