AFROGROOVE focuses on teaching foundational steps and choreography that draw from Pan-African vernacular and street dances found throughout the continent and the diaspora. We’ll explore polycentric dance techniques, blending upper and lower body isolations with rhythmic footwork that complements the polyrhythms of Afrobeat, Afrobeats, Afrohouse, and more!
