Outcome: End-of-term showcase celebrating your child's creative and personal journey

About the Program:

Give your child the space to imagine, create, and shine. D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective’s after-school drama program invites young people in Years Prep–6 to discover the joy of theatre-making through movement, play, and collaborative storytelling. Each week, students step into a creative environment where their ideas are celebrated, their voices are heard, and their confidence can grow.

Across the term, participants explore physical theatre, improvisation, character creation, and ensemble work. Through guided activities and playful devising exercises, they learn how to express themselves using body, voice, and imagination—building essential skills in communication, problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork. Our sessions are intentionally supportive and inclusive, ensuring every child feels safe, encouraged, and empowered to take creative risks.

Facilitated by professional artists and educators from D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective, the program nurtures both artistic development and personal growth. Students build not only performance skills but also resilience, self-awareness, and social connection as they collaborate to invent original scenes and stories.

The term culminates in an informal end-of-term showcase—a joyful celebration of each child’s creative journey and the ensemble’s collective achievements. Families are invited to witness the imaginative worlds their children have brought to life.
