Travel instructions
By bus, the nearest stop is on Bourke Street at Hargrave Street, a short walk from the studio. Bus route 24 services the Carrington area, connecting through to Newcastle Interchange and beyond. By light rail, the closest station is Honeysuckle Light Rail, approximately a 23 minute walk from the studio. By train, Newcastle Interchange is the closest station, also approximately a 23 minute walk, or a short taxi or rideshare from the studio. By car, free street parking is available on and around Gipps Street. Guests should note that there is no public footpath out the front of MOA & co. Access is via the grassed area or one of two driveways, and guests are advised to take care when entering MOA.
Entry instructions
Grounded By Designs is located within MOA & co at 16 Gipps Street, Carrington. There are two ways to enter the building. Guests can enter through the two open garage doors, one at the front and the other off the carpark, or via the white door from the car park.
After entry instructions
Once inside, the studio is located at the back of the building, underneath the staircase. Studio Sessions and retail items are displayed on the open shelving out the front of the studio. Workshops are held within the studio itself. Upon arrival, guests are encouraged to check in with Myf or one of her staff members, who will welcome them and guide them to where they need to be.
Hazards
Guests should note that there is no public footpath out the front of MOA & co. Access is via the grassed area or one of two driveways. A cable protector ramp is in place at the front of MOA’s entry during their open hours, managed by MOA & co. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, MOA Providores operates within the shared warehouse space, bringing additional trestle tables into the building which temporarily reduces the available space to move through. Guests with mobility needs are encouraged to let us know ahead of their visit so we can assist with navigation on these days. Workshops are conducted at a high workbench with bar stools. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require a different setup and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Toilet location
Toilet facilities are accessed through the white door closest to the car park entry. Inside you will find three options: - A standard toilet - A toilet with railing for additional support - A fully accessible bathroom with baby change table and shower
Accessible parking
One designated accessible parking space is available in the shared car park approximately 25 metres from the entrance to MOA & co. Free street parking is also available on and around Gipps Street for all other guests.
