Afternoon High Tea - Join us to learn how Afghan women are establishing themselves in Victoria

SI Melba Inc invites you to join us on Sunday 24 November for a delicious Afternoon High Tea to learn how Afghan women are establishing themselves in Victoria and how we can support them. 

Hear speakers from the Afghan Women's Organisation Victoria (AWOV) and WISA.  Enjoy delicious food prepared by both the SI Melba and AWOV groups. 

All proceeds will go towards AWOV's Learn To Drive program for Afghan women here in Melbourne. 

SI Melba has been working with WISA on small scale projects to support Afghan women both here and in Afghanistan for over 10 years. This latest program is being run by the Afghan Women's Organisation of Victoria with the support of WISA. We believe the program fits well with the Soroptimist mission to transform the lives and status of women and girls through education, empowerment and enabling opportunities.
